A LETTER FROM OUR VP RECRUITMENT...
Dear Potential New Members,
My name is Abby Lillard and I am Vice President of Recruitment for Alpha Chi Omega. Since joining Alpha Chi, I can’t even begin to explain how much I have grown. This group of girls have shown me true friendship, love, and sincerity and these past 3 years have shown me what it is to be a real strong woman.
I know how scary recruitment can be but I promise once you find your forever home, you will truly blossom. A few things to remember is to first, trust the process. Enjoy the time you have and relax! Everything that is meant to happen will happen. Second is to be selfish during this time. Only listen to what YOUR heart is telling you! Find a sisterhood that you know you will flourish in. And lastly, be yourself. This is a time for you to find the girls that will see you at your best, and your worst. Find a house that loves YOU for YOU. I know that recruitment is a nerve-wracking time but it is also a new chapter in your life. Remember to take a deep breath, and trust that everything will work out the way it is planned!
Me and my sisters are so excited to meet you in the fall and so glad you chose to go to Stephen F. Austin! We cannot wait to welcome you into our home!

Dear Potential New Members,
My name is Dionni Thompson and I am Alpha Chi Omega’s, Vice President of Recruitment Information!!! Recruitment is approaching and there’s so much advice I want to give each and every one of you. My biggest piece of advice though would be no matter how stressful or nerve-wracking this time can be remember to take a minute to enjoy this moment. This time is all about new beginnings, finding forever friendships, and creating endless memories. Just 3 short years ago I was in your same position and wow how the time has flown by. In Alpha Chi, I have been able to find my home away from home, forever friends, and a new version of myself. The girl I was when I went through recruitment never would've thought that I would be the person I am today, but with the help of the women in Alpha Chi I saw myself turn into the mentors that I looked up to just 2 years ago. I am so excited for the adventure ahead of each of you and truly hope you are able to find all these things through this process. My sisters and I can’t wait to see you!
